Business Systems Analyst
Position Summary
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will support ExtraHop’s IT Applications team in maintaining and improving a broad portfolio of business applications—including Salesforce and GTM tools. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system configurations. This is an entry-level role designed to build expertise in business applications and system administration while contributing to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements under the guidance of senior team members.
Support the configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of SaaS and GTM applications.
Help triage, research, and resolve tickets related to supported applications, escalating as needed.
Perform basic Salesforce administration tasks, including data entry, user support, and report/dashboard maintenance.
Participate in application testing, data validation, and system upgrades.
Assist in maintaining application documentation and process guides.
Stay current on new application features and releases, and share learnings with the team.
Contribute as a member of an agile scrum team, participating in planning, testing, and project activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
0–2 years of experience in a business systems, IT, or analyst role (internships or coursework accepted).
Basic understanding of business applications (Salesforce, marketing automation, or other SaaS tools preferred).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with Excel or other data management tools.
Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and develop technical and functional expertise.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM/ERP platforms.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Pardot) a plus.
Experience working in an agile or team-based environment.
Salesforce Administrator certification (or interest in pursuing one).
The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits.
