About the Role:
The Commercial Team is structured in 3 sub-teams:
Business Development Representative (BDR): They hunt and qualify new opportunities before setting up demo calls with the AE team
Account Executive (AE): Conduct demo calls with prospects and close
Customer Success Manager (CSM): Nurture and cross sell to the clients
As a Business Development Representative, you will be reporting to the BDR Lead and your mission will be to drive the business acquisition across SMBs in Singapore. This is a key role for the organization as you will be at the forefront of driving growth for the Singapore business.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university
1+ years of work experience in a metrics-driven sales environment
Experience working in the fintech or start - up environment preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, especially informed by data
Desire to develop a career providing financial technology solution to top companies in their various industries
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HubSpot, Outreach and other CRM / sales tools
Experience working in a hyper - growth environment
You would excel in this role if:

You’re curious & eager to learn - A natural and genuine interest in understanding your prospect and their processes, combined with a continuous learning mindset in regards to the market and the product; the most successful BDRs in Aspire have these qualities in spades.
You’re articulate - We’re looking for an effective communicator. Someone who listens, structures their message, and delivers it in an impeccable manner.
You’re methodical & organized - An BDR would have multiple sequences running in parallel, s/he would take part in various mini-projects/battles, while keeping an eye on key deals. If you have problems with prioritization, you could easily feel overwhelmed.
You have high work ethics - You’re in sales. You have targets. Grit is a must. We’re looking for someone who embodies the local firefighter’s slogan “pantang pulang sebelum padam”
