About Kueski

At Kueski, we're dedicated to improving the financial lives of people in Mexico. Since 2012, we've been the leading buy now, pay later (BNPL) and online consumer credit platform in Latin America, known for our innovative financial services. Our flagship product, Kueski Pay, provides seamless payment solutions for both online and in-store transactions, establishing itself as the preferred option for a quarter of Mexico's top e-commerce merchants. Notably, we were the first to introduce BNPL on Amazon Mexico.

We're a tech company with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration, and impact, fostering a strong, diverse, and inclusive company culture. In 2023, Kueski was recognized as the top BNPL platform by Fintech Breakthrough and earned the title of one of Mexico's most ethical companies from AMITAI. Additionally, we ranked as one of the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY.

Purpose:

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Brand Designer I to join our dynamic brand design team within Kueski Studio. This Brand Designer plays an integral role in supporting the Brand Design team in executing a wide variety of design projects. You will work alongside senior designers to create visually compelling assets that align with our brand guidelines and help tell the Kueski brand’s story. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer looking to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while learning from experienced mentors in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of high-quality design assets across multiple platforms, including digital, print, social media, and marketing collateral.

  • Collaborate with the Brand Design team to ensure that all visual assets align with the brand’s visual identity and guidelines.

  • Contribute to the design of new brand campaigns, product launches, and promotional materials.

  • Produce design deliverables such as presentations, brochures, email templates, banners, social media graphics, and other marketing materials.

  • Ensure all work is consistent with the established brand guidelines, maintaining a high standard of quality.

  • Review and apply feedback from senior designers and the Manager of Brand Design to refine designs and improve quality.

  • Follow the brand guidelines closely while working on design projects, helping to maintain a cohesive and consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.

  • Assist with the organization and maintenance of design files, ensuring that assets are easily accessible and well-organized.

  • Work with marketing, product, and other internal teams to understand their design needs and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to help elevate the brand.

Position Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work are also considered).

  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles and showcases your ability to create clean, thoughtful, and effective designs.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma or Sketch.

  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and other design fundamentals.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to create polished, high-quality design work.

  • Ability to communicate design ideas and concepts clearly, both visually and verbally.

  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to take feedback and apply it to improve your work.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

At Kueski we embrace diversity in all forms, systematically promote equity, and ensure everyone feels included with a sense of belonging. We are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified candidates. As part of this commitment, we will make efforts to ensure reasonable accommodations are made during the hiring process. If reasonable accommodation is needed, please let the Talent Acquisition team know.
