While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Bangkok, Thailand so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6-month engagement, working 40 hours per week.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
We’re looking for a Graphic & Motion Designer to join Canva on a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll focus on social media and performance creative production, delivering ad assets and UGC edits tailored for the Thailand market. You’ll support both always-on creative sprints across paid channels like Meta, TikTok, and Google Display, as well as campaign deliverables for owned channels such as lifecycle emails and app store assets. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll help develop creative concepts and ad visuals, ensuring all outputs are on-brand and optimized for performance.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Design and adapt static, video, and motion ads across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Display channels
Edit and optimize videos for social and performance ad sprints
Collaborate with the marketing team to translate strategy and insights into effective creatives
Contribute to creative concepts for growth marketing campaigns and lifecycle assets
Ensure all outputs meet channel specifications, stay on-brand, and are localized for the Thailand market
Share creative learnings and insights to inform and improve future testing and production

We’re looking for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, trend-driven, and collaborative environments, and is excited about bringing ideas to life across digital channels. You should be comfortable appearing on camera when needed, and able to balance creativity with execution—delivering polished assets on time while still exploring new ideas and formats.
You’ll succeed in this role if you’re a resourceful, detail-oriented creative with a strong passion for design, social media, and creating content that resonates with local Thai audiences.
Strong design portfolio with experience in digital ads, motion graphics, and/or UGC video edits, and proficiency in design tools including Canva
Experience creating content for social and performance channels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads), with a strong attention to detail and ability to adapt concepts across formats and sizes
Good understanding of Thai trends, with the ability to translate them into relevant, engaging content
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment, and confident appearing on camera for social content
Strong communication skills in Thai and English, with a collaborative approach to working with marketing teams and stakeholders

As part of the International Marketing Group, our SEA Marketing team drives Canva's growth by blending global strategies with hyperlocal insights. We aim to create meaningful connections with users in Thailand through local campaigns, localized moments, and evergreen creative initiatives across performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement, and other growth channels.
The designer will work directly with the SEA Marketing team, supporting the creation of engaging, locally resonant creative content that amplifies our presence in Thailand.
