What You Will Do:

The Operations Support Specialist will proactively partner with State and Local Government (SLG) market leadership to develop and execute on administrative and operational tasks to support the sustained growth of SLG's work. The Operations Support Specialist will possess both technical and business skills to recommend, engage and coordinate their market's operational initiatives. The Operations Support Specialist will perform any and all job-related duties as assigned. We are currently hiring a BOSC who will support the SLG West Team.

While the candidate does not need to reside in the Western region, they will be expected to work a Pacific Time Zone schedule between the hours of approximately 9AM – 6PM Pacific Time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Well versed in developing and sustaining effective relationships with senior management & identifying opportunities within the assigned market.

  • Provide insights to enhance delivery models & outcomes to further the market's goals including lowering costs and improving outcomes.

  • Provide proactive support on tracking project staffing and ensuring all staff are aligned to sufficient billable work.

  • Build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders covering a range of internal Guidehouse business sectors (Operations, Finance, Timekeeping, Contracts).

  • Collaborate with implementation & business development teams to enhance service delivery, this includes tracking staff RFP support, maintaining site credentials, and completing RFP forms.

  • Understand, meet, and exceed the assigned market's operational key performance indicators.

  • Ability to review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to market and BOSC leadership.

  • Continual improvement of market process flows to lower cost and improve outcomes.

  • Support CE&I-Segment wide priorities as assigned.

  • Interacting with market staff and vendors and/or subcontractors, answering questions, and resolving issues.

  • Interacting with BOSC team, sharing best practices and attending weekly calls.

  • Coordination of the assigned market's work and relationship with the India-based Custom Solutions Team, including coordination of contracting and task management.

  • Provide project-specific support on invoicing, budget tracking, revenue forecasts, and project set up; and track time to projects on timesheets accordingly.

  • Strong attention to details and accuracy, using problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent strategic planning, project management and implementation skills.

  • Provide reports and statistical/analytical information for market leadership.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and lead meetings as needed to support the assigned market.

  • Identifies and addresses business needs; provides guidance and timely responses to questions and requests.

  • Provides analysis and context for project performance management data.

  • Attends and participates in relevant committees and task forces as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6-8+ years of prior relevant experience or an associate’s degree and a minimum of 8-10+ years relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree).

  • Relevant experience coming from a healthcare provider, central office environment, or revenue cycle outsourcing company. Additional professional industries / services applicable.

  • 2+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) products.

  • Experience with leveraging Excel for reporting.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
