What we’re looking for:
Wonders is growing fast. We’re adding rapidly to our product portfolio. In our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team to help build reliable, performant, and well-integrated systems and products for our customers.
What you’ll accomplish:
You will be working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you will always be learning
You’ll spearhead the development of high-quality products from the ground-up with high velocity.
You’ll have a huge impact and work on large scope spanning multiple products
You’ll be an owner, write a lot of code and iterate very quickly
You will partner with Product Managers and other stakeholders to advance the product vision, iterate on customer feedback and drive the expansion of Wonders into new opportunities
About you:
You have 3+ years relevant experience building large-scale applications or similar experience
You currently have, or are in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
You are a self-starter and thrive in an environment where you have technical freedom
You are excited about the opportunity to work up and down the stack and learn Rust
You are passionate about solving customer’s problems and building something from the ground-up
You prefer an environment with limited meetings, processes, planning, politics, and formal reviews
Bonus points:
You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
You are passionate about restaurants
