POSITION DETAILS: TITLE: QA Analyst LOCATION: Remote, in Portugal DEPARTMENT: Software Engineering REPORTS TO: QA Team Leader

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. A strong understanding of QA methodologies and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.

  • Execute manual testing across various platforms, browsers, and mobile devices.

  • Identify, record, and track defects using issue tracking tools.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure thorough testing coverage and timely delivery of quality products.

  • Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes during software releases.

  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • 1+ years of experience in manual software testing.

  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, X-Ray) is preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
