The Role
Bitly is seeking a data driven and relentlessly curious Associate Product Manager with strong communication skills and willingness to learn about developing SaaS products and solutions. As Associate Product Manager, you will help own and drive the product growth roadmap for Bitly using data and insights as your guide. Attention to detail and a focus on business impact is crucial.
What You'll Do
Assist in building the strategy for acquisition and activation of self-serve users (free & paid) in partnership with other Growth Product Managers and Growth Marketing
Collaborate with a product team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality experiences that lead to desired outcomes
Develop an understanding and opinion on the Bitly customer journey to pinpoint opportunities and friction points
Take a data-driven approach in prioritizing requirements and communicating plans, progress, and success across multiple teams
Run experiments to increase targeted KPIs and share those learnings across the company
Be able to drive vision & strategy across a cross functional marketing and engineering team to meet specific KPIs
Partner with analytics and research to better understand what drives your KPIs; be a subject matter expert on the topic
Who You Are
1-3 years of hands-on SaaS product management experience or equivalent work experience
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas
Understands product development and marketing principles and best practices
Willingness to learn and tackle new/unknown challenges
Proven track record of effective, cross-functional collaboration
Ability to analyze product data, communicate findings, and translate those into product changes (proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Looker, SQL is a plus)
Experience running experiments, including hypothesis generation, A/B testing, and data analysis
