About the team
ScriptRunner is an add-on that helps solve the challenges that users face every day within the Atlassian Ecosystem. It automates bulk actions, creates scripted fields, and helps develop distinct workflows. It makes team collaboration easy by ensuring that the work they do is visible across all the teams.
In this newly growing team, you will have a lot of room to make an impact to the product in the business, working closely with cross-functional team like engineering, product and marketing to shape the data culture in ScriptRunner.
About the role
The Associate Analytics Analyst (AAA) role provides the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills across Business Analysis, Data , Databases and Technical tools.
Working within the ScriptRunner Business unit, the purpose of the role is to contribute towards providing actionable, data-driven, insights across our portfolio of products. The AAA will work with data across the business such as user interaction, user sentiment, financial performance, license statistics and other product and user-related metrics.
The role will be exposed to the latest technology in our Data Stack , including Snowflake (Database). Reporting visualization tools are important to our user experience and the role will include creating graphics, graphs or tables to communicate information.
The Associate Analytics Analyst is a hybrid role and as such will develop skills around problem-solving and understanding stakeholder’s needs, alongside the implementation of Technical Solutions (Modelling, SQL, coding, Databases etc).
What you'll be doing
Analytics
- Implement analytics and insights solutions to address complex and challenging business questions, problems and needs.
- Contribute to projects within the analytics and wider team
- Explore data to identify new patterns and trends,
- Support the delivery of timely and accurate reporting to aid operational management and monitoring.
What we're looking for
- Passionate to learn, motivated and able to self-study technical concepts/topics.
- Excellent or highly capable problem solver
- Experience in data analysis setting
- Working proficiency of SQL
- Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets is desirable
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI/ Tableau etc) is an added advantage
- Exposure to Data Modeling (Kimball, Datavault) is preferable
- Database Exposure (any) is ideal
