Are you ready to make a real impact at the intersection of FP&A and technology? We’re looking for a forward-thinking, FP&A savvy Associate Product Owner to advance our enterprise Anaplan models and financial planning processes. You’ll report to the Director, Product Owner - Performance & Risk and work closely with finance and IT stakeholders across Liberty. This role offers visibility and influence, with opportunity to shape how we do financial planning across the enterprise. Showcase your FP&A experience while modernizing financial planning with Anaplan, championing change, and building smarter, more integrated solutions. What You’ll Do:
Act as the bridge between Finance and IT to ensure enterprise Anaplan models work seamlessly and set us up for long-term success.
Champion process improvements, smarter data practices, automation, and adoption of next‑generation planning tools, leveraging your FP&A experience to shape solutions that deliver value.
Translate FP&A requirements into actionable system and data strategies that support enterprise objectives.
Coordinate user acceptance testing for new system features or updates, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
Create and maintain training materials and conduct sessions onboard to finance end-users to new tools or processes.
Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across the team and organization.
Support, enhance, and optimize enterprise Anaplan models in partnership with IT and model builders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
At least 3 years’ experience in FP&A, financial systems, or a related insurance role.
Hands-on experience with Anaplan or comparable financial planning systems (Hyperion, TM1)
Ability to effectively collaborate with IT partners to deliver system and process enhancements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; along with a positive team mindset
Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistencies, break down high-level concepts into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying business needs.
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to see the big picture, break down complex issues, and drive initiatives to completion.
Proven track record in change management and driving adoption of new tools and processes.
