Provides actionable recommendations and supports change management to improve underwriting quality and profitability. Collaborates with stakeholders to align initiatives with company objectives and frontline capacity and presents insights to leadership to guide decision-making and continuous improvement. Lead data-driven analyses and prioritize underwriting concerns, uncovering actionable opportunities that advance underwriters toward $10M DWP goals with minimal supervision. Act as a subject matter expert, independently deploying countywide underwriting programs that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate across functions--including SC leadership, Product, Compliance, and UOCs--to refine underwriting guidelines and systems, driving strategic improvements in company-wide policies. Direct deployment plans for GL and Umbrella underwriting strategies and automation initiatives, ensuring clear communication, training, and system support while monitoring outcomes through quality assurance and stakeholder feedback. Evaluate underwriting performance and field input to recommend continuous improvements that enhance profitability and operational excellence. Influence IT and business partners by articulating vision and impacts of changes, securing alignment and facilitating scalable, cost-effective underwriting operations. Develop and deliver training and mentoring programs, strengthening team knowledge and consistent application of underwriting standards and systems. Manage multiple complex projects and cross-functional teams, adapting to evolving priorities, addressing escalations, and consistently achieving strategic objectives. Demonstrated ability to professionally influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field Minimum 6 years, typically 8 years or more of relevant work experience Master's degree beneficial Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills Experience managing projects preferred
