Asset Management Associate
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Management Associate to join our financial asset management team. In this role, you will oversee the long-term financial performance of a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial solar assets. You will serve as the primary liaison for project-level debt and equity investors post-closing, ensuring that all contractual, compliance, and performance obligations are met. Youll collaborate closely with internal teamsaccounting, tax, legal, and operationsand external stakeholders to drive efficient processes and clear reporting. Key Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of financing structures across your assigned portfolio and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure operational compliance
Maintain, update, and administer detailed financial models for structured-finance transactions
Manage investor cash distributions and debt-service payments in accordance with financing-agreement terms
Prepare and deliver periodic performance and compliance reports to debt/equity investors and senior management
Coordinate with invoicing, collections, and lease-management teams to achieve fund objectives
Support new-deal structuring by providing operational insights and identifying process constraints
Respond to investor inquiries promptly and professionally
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree plus 46 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong financial acumen, including familiarity with complex debt and equity structures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
24 years of experience in renewable-energy finance or structured-finance asset management
Advanced financial-modeling expertise in Excel
Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of solar-energy technologies, markets, and regulatory frameworks (a plus)
