AI Conversation Designer

Join JustAnswer as an AI Conversation Designer and help shape how millions of people around the world interact with intelligent chat experiences. What You’ll Do
Design & Prototype
- Create engaging, user-centered conversational flows for chatbots and AI assistants across e-commerce and customer service journeys. 
- Write clear, brand-aligned dialogue and prompts that balance tone, clarity, and conversion goals. 
- Collaborate with product and engineering to prototype and test new conversation experiences. 
Optimize & Evolve
- Analyze conversation data and performance metrics to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement. 
- Apply NLP, LLMs, and prompt engineering techniques to enhance chatbot accuracy, tone, and scalability. 
- Conduct linguistic, functional, and regression QA to ensure quality and consistency across global markets. 
Collaborate & Scale
- Partner cross-functionally with designers, data analysts, and regional teams to localize chatbot experiences. 
- Support strategic projects such as chatbot consolidation, A/B testing, and new bot launches. 
- Advocate for best practices in conversation design, UX writing, and AI-assisted communication. 
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience designing, launching, or maintaining chatbot or conversational AI experiences. 
- Familiarity with conversational platforms (Dialogflow, Watson, Rasa, or similar). 
- Understanding of NLP concepts and experience working with LLMs or prompt engineering. 
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an eye for tone, flow, and user intent. 
- Comfortable analyzing data in tools like Excel, PowerBI, or Amplitude. 
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, or Python is a plus. 
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills in agile environments. 
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with ChatScript or other chatbot scripting languages. 
- Localization experience across international markets. 
- Prior work in e-commerce, marketplaces, or customer experience. 
- Ability to independently lead QA testing and post-launch optimization.
