Title: Account Supervisor Reports to: Sr. Account Supervisor/ Account Director/ VP Position Summary: The Account Supervisor is the liaison between the agency and client and is responsible for supervising her/his account teams and their resources. Central to the Account Supervisors responsibility is providing strategic recommendations and managing team resources to ensure the clients marketing needs are met. The individual is responsible for the development of ongoing business in their accounts as well as financial responsibilities, general office support, and marketing fundamentals. General and Daily Responsibilities: Develop and execute relevant marketing strategies and tactical plans with account team. Demonstrate effective day-to-day leadership of the internal team in terms of direction, opportunity identification, and guidance. A champion in effectively collaborating to bring ideas to life and ensuring proactive execution. Daily communication with clients to establish trust and maintain exceptional working relationships. Build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving clients marketing objectives in a manner that results in profit to the agency. Actively drives client conversations and leads discussions to offer ideas and solutions. Supervise account team; demonstrate strong leadership, provide direction and professional development- effectively teach procedures and operations. Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business and our offerings. Possess a clear understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, including experience leading marketing and tactical plans. Responsible for account P&L and ensuring the profitability of accounts based on agency income- incudes estimating, monitoring, financial tracking, forecasting, and billing. Serves as a liaison between junior and senior staff. Communicates concerns, team issues, client and project updates, etc. Representing the agency when interacting with the client, and effectively communicating and selling the agencys ideas, recommendations, and programs. Recognizing and reporting new business opportunities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 3 - 5+ years of agency or allied communications industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, public relations, research, agency finance, etc. An obsessive attention to detail A deep understanding of the different approaches to marketing to patients vs. HCPs Experience managing junior level staff - instruction/motivation. Sales and presentation experience Full understanding of the principles of marketing communications planning Excellent verbal and written communications Occasional limited travel required. Pay Transparency: The range above represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Heller, Inc. in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs.
