Expanding our presence in Germany is central to our European growth strategy.Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive (AE) to expand our Supplements Compliance and R&D Insights SaaS portfolio in Germany. This is a hunter rolefocused on winning new clients and driving SaaS revenue growth. You will sell subscription-based SaaS platforms and professional services that help supplements companies in Germany navigate regulatory requirements, substantiate health claims, and accelerate product development. The ideal candidate will be a native German speaker with excellent spoken and written English, experienced in selling SaaS solutions into the German supplements and nutraceuticals market. By joining FoodChain ID, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our position in one of the most advanced and influential markets for supplements in Europe. The role will be based remotely in Germany.Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing SaaS subscription deals with German supplements and nutraceutical companies.

  • Lead end-to-end SaaS sales cycles, from discovery and tailored demos through to negotiation and closure.

  • Position FoodChain IDs Supplements Regulatory Compliance and R&D Insights SaaS platforms as must-have solutions for compliance, innovation, and speed-to-market.

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with decision-makers in regulatory, quality, R&D, and commercial functions.

  • Collaborate with technical experts and regulatory specialists to deliver tailored solutions for German clients.

  • Partner with Marketing to refine strategies and campaigns that resonate with the German supplements industry.

  • Monitor competitor SaaS activity and regulatory developments in Germany to inform positioning and sales execution.

  • Maintain Salesforce CRM as the single source of truth for pipeline and deal management.

  • Work closely with Customer Success teams to support smooth onboarding and drive renewals, upsells, and expansions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 3+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven record of closing subscription deals and achieving quotas.

  • Demonstrated success in selling into the German supplements or nutraceuticals market.

  • Native German speaker with excellent spoken and written English.

  • Proven ability to close new business deals (10k+ ARR).

  • Experience selling regulatory, compliance, or scientific SaaS solutions preferred.

  • Knowledge of German regulatory landscape for supplements highly advantageous.

  • Skilled in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.

Competencies & Skills

  • Strong track record in consultative SaaS sales, including ROI-based selling and subscription-model positioning.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across regulatory, R&D, and commercial teams.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; able to adapt messaging for both German and international audiences.

  • Commercially astute with the ability to connect SaaS solution value to customer KPIs.

  • Resilient and target-driven, with experience in securing new business in competitive SaaS markets.

  • A proactive networker who builds long-term, trust-based partnerships.

  • Native-level German, with excellent English for cross-border collaboration.
