This is a senior, greenfield enterprise sales role focused on landing Canva for Enterprise across all forms of UK Government. What you’d be doing in this role This role is fully aligned to Canva’s Public Sector Government GTM strategy and directly responsible for acquiring net-new Canva for Enterprise customers across the UK Public Sector. At the moment, this role is focused on:
Building and executing account strategies across Central Government ministries, Non-Ministerial Departments, Arms-Length Bodies, Local Authorities, Public Safety agencies, and other public institutions.
Multi-threading into priority accounts across Communications, Marketing, Digital, Brand, HR, and operational leadership.
Driving a repeatable land-and-expand motion tailored to Government decision processes, governance models, and adoption structures.
Owning the full sales cycle from outbound pipeline generation through commercial signature.
Leading detailed discovery tied to Government priorities: public communication, brand consistency, operational efficiency, and constituent engagement.
Maintain structured multi-threading across executives, functional leaders, IT, procurement, and governance stakeholders.
Partner closely with BDRs to set strategic outbound intent, refine target account lists, calibrate messaging, and drive top-of-funnel momentum.
Using persona-based insight and Government value frameworks to shape outbound sequencing and targeting.
Navigating Government procurement processes.
Collaborating with Legal, Security, and Deal Desk to structure compliant enterprise agreements, pricing, and Government-appropriate commercial terms.
Running targeted outbound plays, persona messaging, and Canva’s Government value narrative across priority accounts.
Lead high-impact executive conversations and tailored value sessions demonstrating Canva Enterprise’s impact on communication speed, consistency, accessibility, and governance.
Build internal momentum that leads to multi-team adoption and long-term expansion.
You're probably a match if
You have at least 8 years of direct software sales experience.
You have a minimum 5 years of direct experience selling to Government customers, preferably working with both Central Government and/or Local Government.
You have proven Enterprise SaaS new-business (hunter) experience.
You have experience partnering directly with BDRs/SDRs.
You have a demonstrated ability to multi-thread senior Government accounts.
You have strong commercial and negotiation capabilities.
You have high-caliber communication and storytelling skills.
You're able to operate in a builder environment.
