Video Editor
Were looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor to join a team of creatives. You will produce engaging short-form content and high-performing ad creatives for a variety of clients. This role is ideal for an editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can blend creativity with structure to deliver consistent, on-brand results. Work Hours:Part-time (with potential to grow into more hours); Flexible working hours Work Set-Up:Remote (PH-based); Independent Contractor Salary:$550+/month (based on a 20-hour workweek, flexible depending on experience) Key Responsibilities:
Edit short-form content to the client's brand and brief specifications from provided footage.
Enhance provided footage with stock and AI-generated b-roll and music.
Integrate hooks, manage pacing, apply text overlays, captions, SFX, and perform light color and sound polishing.
Interpret written specifications, ask clarifying questions, and execute on creative goals.
Create multiple iterations of an ad to effectively speak to different audiences.
Produce at least 10 shorts per week.
Reply within 12 hours and deliver final edits within 24 hours.
Manage versions and deliver clean, organized exports via team's platforms.
Role Requirements:
You have 3+ years of experiencein short-form content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, video ads, VSL), preferably in performance-driven ads.
You have professional English communication skills, are able to take directions from a written spec, and ask clarifying questions before beginning work.
You possess high comprehension skills ('reading between the lines') and empathy to place yourself in the client's shoes.
You have a reliable delivery and an ownership mindset, ensuring customer satisfaction.
You are skilled with any editing tool (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.) and proficient in color grading and audio correction.
You have a creative eye for pacing, transitions, and engaging storytelling, with experience in captioning and subtitles.
Nice to Have
Basic motion graphics/animation skills.
Scriptwriting experience.
Experience with AI tools in creative workflows.
