Role Objectives:
The WEP Clinical Vice President of Operations Excellence is a senior leader responsible for driving the execution of the company’s operational strategy in alignment with broader business goals. Working closely with the COO and executive team, this role sets strategic objectives, streamlines processes, and optimizes systems to improve efficiency and support scalable growth. Key responsibilities include leading process improvement initiatives, overseeing system selection and integration, and developing KPIs to track performance. The VP will also support change management efforts and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the COO to define and communicate strategic goals that align operational objectives with company growth and performance targets
Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing process optimizations to boost productivity
Streamline systems and processes to ensure scalability, effectiveness, and alignment with business priorities
Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions to enhance operational capabilities and efficiency
Develop and monitor KPIs and benchmarks to measure performance against industry standards and drive competitive excellence
Design and implement training programs to foster a culture of continuous learning and embed best practices
Partner cross-functionally with project management, clinical operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and collective success
Lead change management efforts by communicating objectives clearly, delivering training, and ensuring adoption of new processes and tools
Support operational teams with guidance and resources, helping them overcome challenges and achieve goals
Champion a culture of operational excellence and accountability across the organization
Drive data-informed decision-making by leveraging analytics to identify opportunities and track progress
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all operational initiatives
What You'll Need:
Extensive experience in process improvement, systems optimization, and operations management, ideally within clinical research, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and derive actionable insights that drive operational success
Proven experience in system selection, implementation, and KPI management
Demonstrated ability to set and achieve strategic operational goals
Strong project management skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience in training teams and promoting adherence to operational best practices
Background in change management with a focus on achieving buy-in and driving adoption of new initiatives
