What You'll Learn:
As the Technology FP&A Senior Manager you will have financial and strategic oversight for managing and optimizing resource investments for the entire Engineering teams at Reddit. This is a critical role that will be delivering key financial insights to business leaders, including the CTO and CFO. You will learn everything and anything about what drives Reddit from a financial perspective. You will work side by side with a world-class org of Technology, Product, and Business practitioners who work together to help Reddit achieve its mission.
What You'll Do:
Provide end-to-end FP&A support for senior leaders across the Infrastructure and Engineering organizations
Partner with key stakeholders to plan, forecast, and manage Opex, enabling informed prioritization decisions
Develop and maintain long-range hiring plans that align with Reddit's organizational strategy
Map engineering roadmaps to resourcing plans, ensuring headcount requests are supported by a clear business case and tied to measurable deliverables
Collaborate with the Developer Productivity function to assess productivity metrics, track trends, and evaluate how investment drives engineering velocity
Identify and execute initiatives that improve, automate, and scale FP&A processes
Conduct deep-dive financial analysis to surface new investment opportunities and cost-saving levers
Partner closely with HR, Recruiting, and Engineering leadership to actively manage headcount, ensuring teams stay within budget while maximizing productivity and impact
Lead regular business reviews to deliver performance updates and guide strategic adjustments based on the latest data
Perform ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis and clearly communicate implications and recommended actions
Who You Might Be:
8+ years of FP&A experience in a fast-paced environment, and a background in Consulting, Big 4 Advisory, or investment banking
Experience partnering with engineering, operations, or product teams within technology companies is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in fast-moving, highly dynamic environments
Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across Finance, Engineering, and Accounting
Proficient with systems such as Workday, Adaptive, NetSuite, or similar platforms
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and Google Slides
Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable working with limited guidance; consistently demonstrates a bias toward action and innovation
Experienced in navigating and thriving in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
