Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Infrastructure Engineering drives engineering productivity and provides the backbone for Netflix products (SVOD, Live, Games, etc.) by building and operating a cost-efficient, scalable, and secure platform while negotiating a settlement-free interconnection (SFI) outcome on the Internet. Join us as we push the boundaries of scale, performance, and resilience, empowering developers to create groundbreaking applications on a reliable platform.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager specialized in Generative AI (GenAI) to join our team. Your role will be to drive GenAI education, documentation, advocacy, and community-building across Netflix Engineering. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in GenAI solutions and applications to help Netflix engineers integrate AI-driven insights and tools seamlessly into their day-to-day work. In addition to this, you will also partner with engineering teams, driving exploration and integration of open source and 3P GenAI solutions into our ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Leading multiple cross-functional programs in collaboration with product, engineering, design, and data science.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate GenAI into their daily workflows.

  • Evangelize Generative AI through technical talks, demos, and workshops, while fostering a vibrant developer community.

  • Accelerate GenAI adoption, create and deliver training to deepen AI fluency across the organization.

  • Leverage the insights and experience from your work to influence the improvement of underlying technologies, architectures, and operations.

  • Drive engagement with internal engineering teams and external partners by working with them to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones.

  • Effectively optimize the scope and schedule of deployments, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively manage risks.

  • Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience driving GenAI technology use and adoption across engineering organizations.

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks, model deployment, or advanced techniques (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, multi-agent workflows).

  • Experience hosting technical/engineering learning workshops, meetups, or online communities; producing technical content; creating engaging and measurable technical learning. Portfolios welcomed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate the business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience.

What sets you apart?

  • You can drive from strategy to execution with minimal direction.

  • You are highly skilled and experienced and enjoy orchestrating programs with many moving parts - people, needs, and technologies.

  • You can identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.

  • You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, pulling data to provide insight, debug issues, and monitor system health.

  • You have a data-driven mindset in your decision-making.

  • You have a deep understanding and point of view within your technical domain(s) of expertise.
