The mission of the Technical Designer Specialist is to manage the technical development of garments from prototype through production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across categories. This includes leading fit sessions, issuing clear tech feedback to factories, maintaining tech packs, and collaborating with PD, Design, and Sourcing teams. The TD Specialist ensures garments meet brand fit standards, improve time-to-market, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective products. Key responsabilities:

• Fit & Construction Excellence

  • Lead fit sessions; translate fit observations into clear adjustments.

  • Maintain consistent garment standards aligned with brand fit strategy.

• Technical Specification Management

  • Develop and maintain accurate tech packs, graded specs, BOMs, and construction details.

• Factory Communication & Issue Resolution

  • Provide timely, clear fit/construction comments to factories.

  • Resolve issues through video reviews, annotated docs, and consistent follow-ups.

• Sample Management

  • Track style status in Asana, flag risks, and ensure on-time progression.

  • Support process improvements to reduce sample rounds and improve turnaround.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Development, Design, and Production to align on feasibility, costs, and design intent.

• Documentation & Workflow Discipline

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation in shared systems.

  • Ensure Asana tracking and G-Drive organization is up to date.

• Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Monitor KPIs, proactively address gaps.

  • Lead training sessions and share best practices.

  • Propose workflow and process improvements.

• Experience: 3–5 years in technical design, product development, or garment engineering.

• Education: Degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or related field.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern corrections, fabric behavior, and grading.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, MS Office, and G-Drive.

  • Experience with Slack and Asana preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple styles simultaneously.

  • Clear communication with global factory partners.

  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration and remote fit reviews.
