Tax Accounting Manager (Trusts & Estates)
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager specializing in Trusts & Estates to lead complex tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and family offices. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax matters, with the ability to advise clients on multi-generational wealth strategies, tax-efficient transfers, and trust administration.
Responsibilities:
Manage and review the preparation of federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), gift tax returns (Form 709), and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax filings
Advise clients on estate planning strategies, charitable giving, trust structuring, and wealth preservation
Provide guidance on trust accounting and distributions in accordance with trust documents and applicable laws
Identify and resolve tax issues; provide practical solutions and strategic advice tailored to client goals
Oversee and mentor tax staff and senior associates; manage workflow and ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
10+ years accounting experience with a focus on Trusts/Estates
CPA or EA preferred
$180,000 - $210,000 a year
