Talent Partner
As our Talent Partner...
You'll join our nimble talent team as a generalist recruiter, working alongside our Engineering Talent Partner (with support from our contract sourcer and coordinator) to build world-class teams across Warp. While your initial focus will be on scaling our go-to-market organization during an explosive growth phase—with sales and growth hiring as immediate priorities—you'll pivot to support any area of the business as needs evolve.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and wants to shape multiple facets of a company that's redefining how developers work. You'll help establish the recruiting practices and culture that will carry us from startup to scale.
Note: We will keep this role posted until September 23rd, 2025, so our team can review the high volume of applications. Will repost as needed.
What you'll be doing:
Own full-cycle recruiting initially focused on sales and growth roles, while flexing into engineering, product, design, or any other function as business priorities shift
Navigate ambiguity with confidence as you recruit for first-of-its-kind roles across diverse functions in a rapidly evolving AI landscape, often defining what 'great' looks like before you find it
Act as a trusted advisor across multiple departments, quickly learning different team cultures, challenges, and success profiles to accurately represent varied roles
Leverage data and analytics to continuously optimize your approach, using metrics to identify what's working, pivot when needed, and tell compelling stories about our talent pipeline to leadership
Enhance Warp's talent brand across multiple communities, positioning us as the destination for ambitious professionals who want to shape the future of developer tools
Who you are:
4+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter with demonstrated success across multiple functions—ideally with strong experience in go-to-market roles but proven ability to flex into technical or operational hiring
You've seen excellence at scale—ideally having worked at a larger organization where you learned what 'great' looks like across functions, then applied those lessons in a growth-stage or hyper-growth startup environment
You're analytically driven, using data not just to track activity but to derive insights that improve your recruiting outcomes and inform strategic decisions
You build trust rapidly with both candidates and hiring managers across all levels and functions, becoming a true thought partner rather than just a service provider
You embrace new technologies, actively experimenting with AI and other tools to enhance your productivity rather than sticking to traditional methods
You're a collaborative team player, excited about working closely with a small but mighty talent team where coverage, flexibility, and mutual support are essential
Bonus:
Experience recruiting for developer tools, API-first products, or technical SaaS companies
Track record of successfully context-switching between technical and business recruiting
Experience as a founding or early recruiting hire who helped scale a company from startup to scale-up
Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on new functional areas with minimal guidance
At Warp, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. So, if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in this job description – we encourage you to apply anyway! We are a community of curious learners, and most of us are learning some skills for the first time (like our engineers learning to program Warp in Rust). You might be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
Salary Transparency
Total compensation at Warp consists of two parts: 1) a competitive base salary, and most importantly, 2) meaningful equity.
When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you. We consider what you’d like to be paid, the skills and level of experience you bring, what similar jobs pay, and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The budgeted compensation amount for this role is targeted at $150,000 - $170,000.
