Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Strategic Accounts Sales Manager (“SASMs” is to sell “Nextech” to assigned physician markets generally consisting of practices backed by private equity that are typically consolidators of practices in their respective markets.
The Strategic Accounts Sales Manager is responsible for handling existing accounts and maintaining established customer relationships. During the initial meaningful contact, the SASM will qualify the prospective client to determine that there is sufficient justification for the prospective client’s evaluation of Nextech to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship between Nextech and the client.
All SASM activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
Essential Functions
Meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly and annual quotas within assigned territory
Regularly achieving assigned key performance metrics that will be published from time-to-time
Prospecting within existing customer accounts to develop opportunities for Nextech to meet prospects’ needs
Traveling overnight to and/or within assigned territory as required to conduct comprehensive sales cycles
Utilizing Practice and Site Surveys to determine prospective clients’ software and system requirements
Demonstrating the full capabilities of Nextech software to prospective clients
Preparing and presenting price proposals to prospective clients
Determining and presenting the proposed return on investment for clients of the Nextech solution
Negotiating specific contract terms with prospective clients within Nextech guidelines; seeking approval of Vice President, Sales, and/or Chief Revenue Officer as required for terms that may differ from Nextech standard terms
Completing all necessary paperwork in order to process the sale; implementation, support, accounting and account management
Maintaining contact with the client and supporting other Nextech employees as required throughout the implementation, initial “go-live” process and ongoing client relationship
Utilizing Salesforce.com and Aviso.com to report on the status of leads, track action items of each sales campaign and accurately forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis
Assist the Sr. Director of Enterprise Accounts in mentoring new and existing SASMs in various job functions
Take responsibility for special projects as assigned by the Sr. Director of Enterprise Accounts to improve the sales function
Participate with EAM on customer retention & growth strategy development including annual, quarterly, and monthly business review and planning sessions.
Provide voice of market and customer to Sales, Marketing, Product & CX leadership, and SMT
Proactively collaborate internally and cross-departmentally to keep all accounts apprised of any potential issues to their software performance timely
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of enterprise sales
Minimum 3+ years of transactional selling experience
Demonstrated ability of taking extreme ownership; managerial experience preferred
Proven ability to secure access to the Executive level of practice leadership (Medical Director/Chief Physician or Board level)
Excellent relationship building skills
Demonstrated business acumen
Excellent product knowledge along with an ability to stay abreast of competition, competitive issues, products and markets for Nextech’s products and services
High level of professionalism
Team player who can work cooperatively with others
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Previous experience with Salesforce.com
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Aesthetics space (Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Med Spa)
Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
Ability to work in a team environment yet also comfortable with working in an autonomous environment
Natural curiosity to figure out solutions
Project management and/or consulting experience in software business
Healthcare technology experience
Microsoft office proficient
Working Environment/Physical Demands
Remote Work
Long-distance or air travel as needed-potential quarterly travel
Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor
