Staff Software Engineer - Integrations

What You Will Do
Anchor the team building our integrations platform for our newest HRIS product
Shape the technical seam between the Integrations team and other teams with HRIS and across Lattice.
Craft solutions for complex projects, often spanning multiple services or teams.
Provide technical standards, conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship of other engineers.
Inform prioritization and resourcing with the management team and cross-functional partners to tackle engineering goals.
What You Will Bring to the Table
You have 10+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
You have experience with a modern programming language like JavaScript, Ruby, Python, etc.
You’re no stranger to SQL—you know how to efficiently model data and write performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL.
You understand the ins-and-outs of maintaining and scaling an application actively serving customers in production
You seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
You take care to write code that your colleagues will also own, understand, and maintain.
You’re clear and concise in explaining your thought process and in enumerating the tradeoffs made in your work.
You work well with designers and product managers to come up with optimal solutions.
You enjoy taking an active role in the development process, have experience leading large-scale initiatives, and strive to continuously improve engineering practices.
You love mentoring and supporting other software engineers who are newer to the industry.
You have experience taking the lead in planning and executing the development roadmap for complex software projects, including those that span multiple teams or services.
You make the engineering team more effective through the pragmatic application of useful code tools and patterns.
You proactively identify opportunities to improve the maintainability, scalability and reliability of business-critical systems.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $187,500 - $234,500. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
