Staff Product Manager
About the Role
As a Staff Product Manager, you will be a key driver in evolving the expert-side product experience, helping shape how millions of customers and experts connect and engage on JustAnswer. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Expert Operations, Engineering, UX, and Analytics to design and scale technology that enables experts to deliver exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in advancing how we leverage AI—particularly conversational AI—within expert workflows. You’ll play an instrumental role in defining how our experts engage with customers, ensuring a seamless experience from the start of the interaction through resolution. While the exact focus areas for 2026 will evolve, this role will anchor around the expert-facing experience, with potential touchpoints in conversation management, expert-customer matching, and quality optimization. We are seeking a product leader who combines strategic vision, operational understanding, and strong stakeholder management. You’ll need to influence without authority, own outcomes end-to-end, and navigate the complexities of working with multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
What You’ll Do
Drive ownership and accountability across the full product lifecycle — from strategy to execution — for initiatives that impact expert performance and quality outcomes.
Collaborate with Expert Operations, Engineering, UX, and Analytics to define and deliver technology solutions that improve expert effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of tools, interfaces, and AI-driven workflows supporting experts in their day-to-day interactions with customers.
Integrate voice of the customer and voice of the expert insights into decision-making, using qualitative and quantitative inputs to define priorities.
Champion the use of AI and machine learning within product development and expert operations — focusing on conversational AI and applied AI for analytics and workflow optimization.
Operate with a “business owner” mindset, understanding the downstream operational and business implications of product decisions.
Foster collaboration across stakeholder groups, navigating complex dynamics with tact, clarity, and influence.
Balance strategy and execution, crafting actionable roadmaps while adapting to changing priorities and information.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer internet, marketplace, or SaaS environments creating product strategy and managing roadmap
Proven record of end-to-end ownership, with the ability to take initiative, manage ambiguity, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Experience in operations-heavy or cross-functional environments; prior exposure to Expert Operations or similar business models strongly preferred.
Strong voice of customer orientation — proven ability to uncover user pain points and translate insights into impactful solutions.
Experience applying AI and ML technologies, particularly conversational AI, to enhance product and operational outcomes.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build trust across technical and non-technical teams.
Strategic and analytical thinker who can also operate tactically to execute plans and deliver results.
Experience in balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including comfort working in dynamic and evolving environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of operating at senior levels within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
Prior startup or marketplace experience strongly preferred.
