THE OPPORTUNITY

This Staff Delivery Manager position can work remotely within the U.S.

As a Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven strategies and contributing to the success of our Big Data initiatives at ADC. You will be responsible for driving the cross-functional big data programs and advanced data science solutions to uncover customer, product and operational insights from complex datasets. You will assist with the strategy, design, prioritization, roadmap management and defining and delivery of releases.

The ideal candidate should have rigorous analytical capabilities and a collaborative mindset to help solve our most complex business problems. Highly sought-after qualities include versatility and a desire to continuously learn, improve and empower the team. Candidate should be able to work on a geographically distributed team.

What You’ll Work On

  • Drive both internal and external teams to define and meet the data and analytics requirements of our clients and the organization.

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of all Data Services products and solutions in alignment with planned objectives.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project and product roadmaps.

  • Manage multiple high-visibility projects and services concurrently using agile methodologies in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Collaborate with teams across R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Quality, and others to identify data needs, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Partner with data engineering, data science, and other technical teams to execute big data initiatives and programs.

  • Provide training and support to enhance data literacy across teams and business partners.

  • Define and implement scalable, efficient processes to support the delivery of big data initiatives.

  • Establish and track success metrics for data services to ensure continuous improvement and value delivery.

  • Maintain responsibility for applying best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, SAFe) in the delivery and support of data solutions.

  • Stay current with advancements in data science and machine learning to continuously enhance data service capabilities.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and propose actionable, data-driven solutions.

  • Maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, and data flow diagrams, to support solution design and implementation.

  • Own and manage documentation within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to ensure compliant and seamless software releases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 8-10 years of recent experience

  • In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and working knowledge of automated project planning tools

  • Process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned

  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data integration, data warehousing and ETL processes

  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team

Preferred

  • Education in, or experience with, data science, AI/ML, data engineering, etc.

  • Experience with data analytic environments and/or data intelligence platforms like Databricks, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry

  • Experience as a Technical Product Owner

  • Experience working in an agile environment
