Title: REMOTE Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Work authorization: Green Card, US Cit, can transfer H1B visas
Must-Haves:
- Experience building and deploying scalable applications in the cloud using CI/CD practices in one of the following languages: Python, PHP, React, or any other object oriented programming language
- Database experience in SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Experience building microservices from scratch
- Experience with any containerization frameworks
- Experience with Azure, GCP or AWS
- Experience with 3rd party banking or integration applications
- Experience with integration and implementation of tools and services
- Full Stack experience
We are looking for Sr. Software Engineers to support the billing team and be committed to building and maintain solutions that support the core of all the financial transactions. The Billing System is more end-user focused and the end goal is to build tools and features that enable a smoother experience for the customers. However, it also needs to be easy for internal users to navigate. Internal users include the Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Customer Support teams, and the Software Engineer will collaborate closely with them. The Software Engineer will learn and own the entire implementation from database to API to UI. They will build, test, and ship features confidently and with low friction through a modern GitLab continuous integration / continuous deployment pipeline to AWS cloud. The Software Engineer will also add new features in Python/PHP. They will also integrate and implement state of the art, third party billing subscription management and recurring billing platform.
