Senior Software Engineer

     About the Role

• Design & develop enterprise applications with a database backend

• Design & develop .NET applications on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform

• Lead discussions with client business and technical leadership and work with a team of intelligent technology professionals to recommend application solutions using a variety of hosting platforms and technology solutions

• Utilize a wide array of modern codebase and cloud services to build solutions that are slated for continuous improvements in functionality, infrastructure, and operations as the solutions evolve

• Encourage innovation and software engineering best practices internally and externally

• Grow your skillset and expertise to meet emerging needs  

What we’re looking for

• Over 3 years’ experience developing Web Applications

• Over 3 years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure

• Over 3 years’ experience developing with and using the .NET framework

• Knowledge of cloud foundation principles and standards

• Knowledge of and participation in all stages of the SDLC

• Knowledge of test-driven development

• 2+ years SQL Server database development experience

• 2+ years Entity Framework experience

• Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Azure services:

  • Cosmos DB

  • Azure Storage

  • App Service

  • Active Directory integration with applications 

• Able to define technical requirements

• Mentor junior developers and able to lead a small team

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Hunger for growth and continuous learning

Preferred Knowledge/Experience: 

• 4+ years of .NET Development leveraging newer technologies like .NET CORE and ASP.NET Identity

• Experience with newer data persistence technologies, such as NoSQL, key value storage, blob storage, vector and graph databases

• Web technologies, REST, ASP.NET Core, GraphQL

• Web Front-End Development knowledge including JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue

• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices

• Knowledge of cloud-native application practices and approaches

Salary Range - $120,000 - $140,000
