Sr. Director - Market Operations
What You’ll Do
The Sr. Director, Market Operations will be responsible for guiding strategy and driving the execution of clinical projects and initiatives. Their efforts will bring greater effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency across lines of business for in-market growth, operational execution, clinical and quality outcomes, and financial success of Strive’smarket operations and performance. This role will report to the Regional President, Market Operations.
The Day to Day
Executes on contract terms/service level agreements and Strive’s operating model to achieve Total Cost of Care savings, Partners with Customer Success in negotiation of value-based agreements.
Drives and supports the overall operational strategy of Strive’s national partnerships, with a heavy emphasis on execution, programmatic implementation, operational implementation, and performance delivery for payor and provider groups.
Develops and implements strategic plans for the region, including identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and working with senior management to develop and implement new initiatives.
Responsible for P&L management over the market, collaborating with the market medical lead, the Senior Director, Total Cost of Care, and operational leaders to design, implement, and manage business operations.
Works with market leader(s) to establish and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; oversees and manages goals and market performance.
Hires, trains, manages, and develops in-market Kidney Heros (Care Coordinators) while promoting a metrics-driven culture.
Monitors and utilizes KPIs to improve performance and streamline patient throughput and care delivery processes, with an eye towards exceptional implementation and delivery.
Serves as primary, day-to-day operational contact for assigned partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
9+ years in healthcare administration or related field.
5+ years’ experience developing relationships with key stakeholders in a health system, provider organization and with large payors or related experience.
5+ years’ experience managing a P&L within a healthcare delivery setting, ideally in a value-based environment.
5+ years value-based care experience.
Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or MHA preferred.
5+ years experience managing direct reports.
Provider contracting experience preferred.
Experience working with primary care providers, nephrologists, and care management teams.
Experience designing and implementing clinical protocols and workflows preferred.
