Sr. Data Analyst
What You'll Do
The Senior Data Analyst will work across the organization to support new and ongoing initiatives. This person will join a highly experienced and passionate team and will play a key role in defining the future of the organization. The analyst’s primary focus will be Enterprise-wide and operational performance analytics, including clinical performance and outcomes measurement, developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), building dashboards for executive, operational, and clinical leaders, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and supporting cross-functional initiatives with data-driven insights. The analyst will work closely with Medical Directors, clinical leadership, Market Stakeholders, and the broader Technology team to develop a robust suite of analytics that supports clinical decision-making, quality improvement, and value-based care performance.
Essential Functions
· Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL and enterprise data sources to support strategic, operational, and clinical decision-making.
· Design, build, and manage dashboards that provide actionable insights to medical directors, clinical teams, and operational leaders across the organization.
· Partner with Medical Directors and clinical stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of Strive’s clinical models, including quality, utilization, and outcomes metrics.
· Conduct root cause analysis to investigate data anomalies, performance trends, clinical variation, and operational variation, delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.
· Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot data pipeline and quality issues, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable reporting used in clinical and operational contexts.
· Maintain clear, accessible documentation of metrics definitions, data sources, and dashboard logic to support transparency, consistency, and knowledge transfer, including alignment on clinical definitions and assumptions.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement.
· Located in Denver, or Remote.
· 4+ years’ experience in healthcare data analysis.
· Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
· Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
· Working knowledge of analyzing medical claims, lab data, EMR data, and other clinical data sources to assess quality, utilization, and outcomes.
· High degree of proficiency in Microsoft SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools.
· Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in ambiguity; a self-starter. Desire to work in a start-up environment. Previous experience at a start-up is a plus.
· Experience supporting physicians, medical directors, or clinical leaders with analytics is a plus.
Annual Salary Range: $86,000 - $104,000
