What Youll Do

• Design, build, and maintain core backend systems and APIs for our debt management platform

• Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and compliance teams to deliver features that are performant, secure, and compliant

• Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate boilerplate code, improve documentation, and accelerate testing

• Develop and evolve data models in a document database environment (MongoDB)

• Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure, ensuring reliable, repeatable deployments

• Collaborate on system architecture and internal tooling to make the team more efficient

• Review and debug code with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security

How Youll Use AI

• Code generation: Use AI to bootstrap boilerplate services, generate test cases, and write utility functions faster

• Dev tooling: Streamline local setup, deployments, and environment config with AI-assisted scripting

• Debugging: Accelerate issue resolution by using AI to isolate problems or suggest fixes

• Documentation: Use LLMs to document APIs, workflows, and architectural decisions as you go

• Cross-team collaboration: Translate technical needs and implementations into clear, accessible updates using AI summarization tools

You Might Be a Fit If You

• Have experience building backend applications using Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript)

• Have worked with document databases like MongoDB

• Are familiar with AWS services and infrastructure management

• Know your way around Git and CI/CD tooling like Bitbucket Pipelines
