This role sits in our Acceleration department, home to the people who drive ecosystem growth by building tools, integrations, and partnerships across the Polkadot network.
About the position
We are looking for new engineers to join the team, specifically for work on XCM and system test frameworks. In these positions, you will:
Design and implement cutting edge protocols that will be used for the Polkadot protocol and teams building applications on it;
Work on complex, multi-chain problems;
Design end-to-end test suites to test multi-chain applications.
Your Skills
Collaborate with others in an open-source culture, work well with peer review as a reviewer and reviewee
Possess a good understanding of system design and an ability to work with complex systems
Take ownership of your work and be responsible for outcomes. Know that finishing a project doesn’t mean finishing the first version of the code. Evangelise your work and seek and incorporate feedback
Be able to present your technical work in “plain English” in blog posts or conferences, including to non-technical audiences
