The Small Commercial Package & Specialty Program Delivery team is looking for an Analyst/Sr Analyst for a high-visibility opportunity to be a direct and key contributor to USRM profit and growth goals and help shape current and future pricing programs. You will be responsible for taking the newest products and pricing models developed by our Design and Modeling teams and implementing them accurately and efficiently into state markets.
**This is a ranged posting, grades 13-15 (G13 - Analyst, G15 - Sr Analyst). Position offered will be at manager discretion based on skills and experience.** In this role, you can expect to:
Take ownership of product designs and state implementations, as our analysts autonomously own and execute implementations of new pricing programs for small commercial package products (i.e. property, liability and business owner’s package)
Learn many parts of the business by being involved in all aspects of the product design
Build highly sought-after technical skills
Influence actual decisions during state rollout
Gain visibility to organizational leaders through project updates, technical presentations and advertising project milestones and state launches

The ideal candidate will:
Have strong technical aptitude with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and data analysis software (ex. SAS or SQL)
Intermediate knowledge of how insurance pricing works, experience in Product Delivery or Product Management are a plus
Exhibit project management, organizational, process, analytical, cost-benefit, collaboration, decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills
Be proactive, autonomous and willing to influence others
Have a background in national or small commercial insurance products
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field.
Minimum 2 years, typically 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Completion on product development program.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).
Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
