About the role:

As an SEO Specialist (with Link-Building expertise), you will apply specialized skills to tackle challenging assignments with clear objectives. Working independently within an established framework, you will optimize website content, improve search rankings, and drive organic traffic. Your role includes keyword research, performance analysis, and implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to achieve project goals.

 You’ll have the opportunity to choose your hours and work and learn with world-class engineers, designers, and marketers. Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and phrases that align with the company's content strategy and business goals

  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta descriptions, titles, and tags to improve search engine rankings and user experience.

  • Technical SEO: Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact search engine crawling, indexing, and raking.

  • Outreach Coordination: Identify relevant link-building opportunities, conduct outreach to website owners, bloggers, and influencers, and foster relationships to secure quality backlinks.

  • Link Building: Develop, implement, and manage effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites, boosting the website's domain authority and search visibility.

  • Content Strategy: Work with content creators to ensure that all website content adheres to SEO best practices and is optimized for target keywords.

  • Performance Monitoring: Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor website performance, track rankings, and analyze organic traffic trends.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, ranking, and conversion rates, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor SEO strategies and performance to identify opportunities and inform the company's SEO strategy.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including web development, content, and marketing, to align SEO strategies with overall business goals and ensure seamless implementation.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in search rankings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, with proven expertise in developing and executing successful link-building campaigns.

  • Proficiency in keyword research tools, on-page optimization, and technical SEO

  • Strong understanding of white-hat link-building techniques, outreach strategies, and backlink analysis.

  • Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or similar to identify link opportunities and evaluate backlink profiles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of SEO and link-building trends and technologies.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web development languages.

  • Experience with link-building and outreach strategies

  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console
