Senior Technical Recruiting Sourcer
Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Recruitment Sourcer with deep experience sourcing exceptional Engineering and Product talent. This is an initial 6-month contract, ideally starting in January with early delivery expected from February. You will be fully remote and report to a manager based in Amsterdam.
In this role, you will partner closely with our Talent Team and Engineering/Product leaders to build high-quality, diverse pipelines for critical technical roles across R&D. You will focus solely on top-of-funnel sourcing, passive talent engagement, market mapping, and delivering shortlists that enable our recruiters and hiring managers to hire effectively in a globally distributed environment.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Engineering and Product hiring teams to understand role requirements, technical skillsets, team structures, and market challenges.
Own sourcing strategy and execution for all Engineering and Product positions—ranging from Backend, Frontend, SRE, Infrastructure, and Observability roles to Product Managers and Product Designers.
Identify, research, and engage passive candidates across global markets using advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping, talent communities, open-source platforms, networking, referrals, etc.).
Craft tailored outreach messaging that resonates with technical candidates and represents Grafana Labs’ culture and mission.
Maintain proactive, diverse pipelines while providing regular updates on activity, insights, and market trends to recruiters and hiring leaders.
Conduct initial sourcing screens to validate technical alignment, interest level, and candidate expectations before passing to recruiters.
Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
Act as a subject matter expert on sourcing best practices within Engineering and Product domains.
Work effectively in a remote-first, global environment and communicate well across time zones.
Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality.
What You Bring
Proven experience as a Senior Recruitment Sourcer dedicated to technical, engineering, or product pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to source for a wide range of technical roles (Backend, Frontend, SRE, Infrastructure, Platform, DevOps, Product Management, etc.).
Strong understanding of technical stacks, engineering disciplines, and how they fit into modern SaaS/Tech organizations.
A solid network of engineering and product professionals and the ability to build new ones quickly.
Expertise in passive sourcing, competitive research, talent mapping, and pipeline development.
Experience partnering with senior technical stakeholders to influence and refine sourcing strategies.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating changing needs.
Familiarity with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools/platforms.
Based in the UK or Netherlands, able to work remotely with global teams.
Available for an initial 6-month contract.
Day rate will be between 350-450 GBP per day. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process.
