  • Collaborate with engineering leaders, data scientists, backend software engineers, fullstack engineers, as well as machine learning engineers. Also work closely with security, legal, and privacy XFN.

  • Mentor engineers and leaders, share industry knowledge, and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

  • Stay updated on state-of-the-art products and technologies, recognizing promising innovations, identifying gaps, and adapting them to Reddit's unique platform and community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar STEM field or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.

  • Deep familiarity with Ads privacy challenges (GDPR, CCPA, ePD, ATT, etc.) and experience delivering high Ads performance in line with privacy needs.

  • Capable of acting as an individual contributor who can design, implement, test, and launch complex product and infrastructure changes across the entire Ads stack.

  • Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams, and driving alignment between diverse stakeholders

  • Experience leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth
