Team Description
Reddit is poised to rapidly innovate and grow like no other time in its history. We’re currently hiring across three distinct teams:
Ad Formats
Over the last few years we have been growing multiple ads types and now are a sizable ads player approaching 1B and over in revenue. We have multiple ad formats like image/video/carousel etc. that advertisers rely on.
(A) The Scaled Ads Formats team builds and develops ad formats to deliver strong user experiences that align with advertisers’ marketing goals. They will expand ad inventory by enabling ads on newer placements, optimizing the ad user experience, enhancing post click experience, supporting the ads/consumer ecosystem to ensure efforts for DAU happen in tandem with ads, and developing infrastructure to enable and enhance ad products. (B) The New Ads Format team builds and develops innovative and new to reddit ad formats to deliver strong user experiences that align with advertisers marketing goals. They introduce new concepts and try out variations to prove product market fit which solve customer needs. This is a fast paced environment where the team is nimble and adaptive to advertiser feedback. It also enhances foundations that enable it to provide newer concepts.
Advertiser Growth
We are looking for an engineer to supercharge our Small to Medium Business (SMB) focused Advertiser Growth efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the technical foundation for mission critical product pillars, collaborating across the company to deliver outcomes for the Reddit Ads Business. This role provides an opportunity to partner closely with cross-functional teams such as product, design, marketing, data science, UX and Sales, and ultimately make a large number of small to medium businesses successful on Reddit. As an engineer for all of these efforts, you will help set the engineering strategy for building iteratively, shipping quickly, testing rigorously, and adding step-change capabilities towards our ambitious goals of multiplying many times over our number of monthly active advertisers.
Business Manager The Business Manager team stands out for its genuinely inclusive and collaborative culture, where not only is open feedback central, but every opinion and idea is truly valued and given space to shape our direction. Here, diverse perspectives are seen as a core strength, fostering a team dynamic where everyone feels empowered to contribute and innovate. On a day-to-day basis, engineers tackle complex, high-stakes challenges at the core of Reddit’s ads platform which include innovating on permissions systems, building Agency and Large Enterprise solutions, and driving adoption among Reddit's largest advertisers. From ideation to delivery, our engineers are trusted with end-to-end ownership of their projects, working closely in cross-functional collaboration with PMs, UX, and partner teams. This hands-on approach means every team member plays a direct and visible role in delivering high-impact, user-focused solutions for some of Reddit’s most strategic advertisers.
