About the Role 

We’re seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – Identity to join our high-performance team, supporting strategic pre-sales efforts across key enterprise accounts. You will serve as the technical expert and trusted advisor on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions—particularly SailPoint and CyberArk.

You will collaborate with account executives to understand customer requirements, craft compelling technical narratives, and guide customers through solution design, demos, and proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers evaluating SailPoint, CyberArk, and broader IAM solutions

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business needs, security posture, and compliance requirements

  • Develop and deliver tailored product demos, presentations, and proof of concepts (PoCs)

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide feedback from the field and influence roadmap

  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation with detailed, high-quality input

  • Support deal strategy by aligning technical capabilities with business drivers

  • Partner with services teams to ensure successful handoff from pre-sales to post-sales implementation

  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Technical Pre-Sales role in cybersecurity or identity space

  • Deep expertise with either or both:

  • SailPoint IdentityNow / IdentityIQ (IGA)

  • CyberArk CorePAS, EPM, or Conjur (PAM)

  • Solid understanding of IAM, PAM, and security concepts (e.g., Zero Trust, RBAC/ABAC, SSO, MFA, AD, LDAP, APIs)

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills—comfortable speaking with both technical and business audiences

  • Experience conducting product demos, PoCs, and whiteboarding sessions

  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence stakeholders at multiple levels

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
