Senior Proposal Specialist
Lead the development of strategic proposals in response to moderate to highly complex RFPs. Serve as proposal strategist by leading RFP strategy meetings that include appropriate corporate and field business partners and senior-level management to develop proposal responses that are both compliant and compelling.
Lead proposal development for RFPs involving high-profile clients and prospects associated with significant annual revenues Responsible for communication management for proposals involving corporate and sales business partners to make recommendations based on analysis of RFP requirements, client attributes, and related data points Manage multiple concurrent RFPs, requiring outside resources and crossing divisions to produce the most effective, competitively positioned, client-focused proposals Responsible for strategic proposal oversight and recommending key messages and positioning of high-level proposals with ongoing enhancements for proposal content at large Serve as proposal strategist and consult with corporate and division partners to develop strategies, key messages, and compelling proposal content in support of SBU revenue goals Lead and/or participate in project meetings. Proactively and openly articulate ideas and concerns with both corporate and project stakeholders, while balancing the objectives of both groups Evaluate and interpret RFP requirements/questions, as well as effective use of client-required systems (i.e., online RFP applications, etc.)
Understand and leverage product knowledge and strategic understanding of the competitive landscape to develop client-focused content for each assigned proposal Ensure market positioning and approved key messages are adhered to in order to add strategic value and improve the company’s competitive position within each proposal submission Develop, document, and manage proposal project plan including team’s roles and responsibilities for each RFP Analyze processes and strategies relating to increasing efficiency, quality, cost-control principles, workflow, accuracy, and reduction of complex production processes and products, providing recommendations for improvement Advise and recommend effective communication approaches Write and edit copy for strategic proposals Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience 4+ years’ experience in related communications work for a variety of mediums and customizing content to targeted audiences with technical or proposal writing experience Project management experience with the ability to effectively lead projects with strict deadlines Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate through competing tasks/assignments Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to proofread and edit Ability to work with individuals from all levels of organization Proficient in word processing and desktop publishing applications

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $58,800.00 - $101,850.00
