About the team
You will be joining the team responsible for building Goodnotes across all platforms, ensuring that our users have an exceptional experience using Goodnotes, whether on mobile, tablet, or desktop.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead desktop feature development across Web, Windows, and Mac platforms. You will be instrumental in bringing one of the most beloved notetaking apps from iPad to desktop, working to improve the desktop experience and drive growth beyond tablets.
This is the role for you if you’re excited to work on the below:
Desktop experience development: Lead feature development across Web, Windows, and Mac platforms, ensuring consistency and quality across all desktop experiences
User-centered discovery: Conduct user research, discovery work, and leverage insights/data to inform product decisions and improvements
Cross-platform excellence: Work across different operating systems to create well-behaved applications that follow platform-specific UX patterns while maintaining our design aesthetics
Growth initiatives: Drive daily active users (DAU) on desktop platforms as a key performance metric
Strategic product development: Own the product roadmap for desktop, balancing user needs with business objectives
The skills you will need to be successful in the above::
Productivity app expertise: 4-5 years of experience with productivity applications, with a genuine passion for the space
Strong product leadership: Proven track record as a product manager (not project manager or scrum master) who goes beyond Jira, PRDs, and backlog management
Consumer-facing experience: Must have in-house experience building consumer-facing products with direct user interaction
Exceptional UX sense: Deep understanding of what makes a well-behaved application, including UX patterns, platform conventions, and aesthetics
Customer empathy: Previous experience interacting directly with users to understand their needs and pain points
Drive and enthusiasm: Passionate about productivity tools with the energy to tackle big responsibilities
