  • Game Team Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and challenges to the specific game vertical.  Define key metrics, establish data collection processes, implement analytical frameworks and effectively communicate the insights to drive continuous improvement

  • Ownership of Analysis: Take ownership of end-to-end analytical projects, from data gathering and processing to interpretation and presentation. Drive the execution of analytical initiatives with precision and attention to detail

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, to translate data insights into impactful business outcomes.

  • Product Roadmap Influence: Partner to shape the future direction of the game

  • Digging Deep: Hands-on exploration into existing reports and data, correlation of KPIs, definition of success for the Vertical, to identify the needs and gaps and actively work towards the improvements. Leverage data-driven insights to prioritize features, optimize game economies, and refine product roadmaps for maximum player engagement and satisfaction

  • Presentation and Communication: Effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Present insights in a clear, concise manner through compelling presentations and reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for continuous learning in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment

  • Excellent English communication skills, written and oral

  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence related role. Gaming industry background is an advantage.

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and comfort working in large data sets – exposure with BigQuery and Python/R experience a plus

  • Working Knowledge of visualization tools: Looker (Preferred), Qlikview, Tableau or PowerBI

  • Experience working with multiple data sources, understanding Technical KPIs like App Load Funnel and latency, and experience with DataDog are advantages

  • Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate complex results throughout an organization

  • A love for or strong desire to work with mobile games

At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
