Senior Marketing Manager - Media & Partnerships
About the Role
As a Marketing Manager at Zepz, you'll be a key driver of our global expansion for the Sendwave and WorldRemit brands for the Philippines market. You'll work at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, and community engagement to help us quickly and efficiently launch new remittance corridors and services. This role requires up to 20% work on evenings and weekends to accommodate events and partners in different time zones. We believe in work-life balance and offer flexibility to manage your time.
How You'll Make an Impact
You'll lead the charge in securing high-reach media and online opportunities to accelerate our growth. Your day-to-day will involve:
Building Strategic Marketing Channel Mix: Creatively build a strategy that maximises the impact of our existing and future marketing channels to support the user acquisition, retention and volumes across both of our brands.
Creating and managing channels: Identify, negotiate, and manage key partnerships with public figures and media channels that are a part of the communities we serve . This includes influencers, TV, radio, PR, online platforms, and even offline channels like community events and billboards.
Being a Brand Representative: Represent the Sendwave brand confidently at large community events and during TV and radio appearances, generating positive sentiment and answering tough questions.
Driving Growth & Innovation: Build and test new user acquisition strategies. Past initiatives have included brand collaborations, phone campaigns, and producing educational content for social media.
Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our Regional Managers and Product Marketers to align on strategy and ensure our efforts scale efficiently as we enter new markets.
What you’ll bring to the table and own :
Experience: 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment in a marketing role
Language Skills: Native-level fluency in both English and Tagalog.
Navigate Networks: You confidently find and engage with highly connected people to build relationships and land key partnerships.
Negotiate & Persuade: You can competently negotiate and persuade potential partners to explore unique, long-term partnership models.
Are a Project Owner: You have a proven track record of managing projects from ideation to execution, including analyzing results to find new opportunities.
Manage Complexity: You are comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and can effectively prioritize between different activities, from research and negotiation to serving as a brand spokesperson.
Are Culturally Adaptable: You can quickly absorb new cultural settings and understand how they impact strategy.
Play a key role in accelerating the growth of all sending markets to the Philippines across both of our brands - Sendwave and Worldremit
Bonus Points
Familiarity with the diaspora communities we serve.
Experience in production, PR, sales, or business development.
Proven ability to meet aggressive numeric targets.
