About the Role

As a Senior Human People Partner supporting our G&A organization, you’ll act as a strategic advisor and coach to executives, managers and team members. You’ll drive talent management initiatives, people programs, and organizational design that align with our fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure a high-performing, inclusive, and resilient organization.

This is a critical role that bridges business strategy with people strategy, enabling leaders to scale teams effectively while upholding our culture of high performance, ownership, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Organizational Design

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to G&A leaders on all people-related matters, aligning talent initiatives with business goals.

  • Drive change management initiatives for communication strategies, org redesign, or team evolution.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and L&D teams to deliver holistic talent strategies.

People Programs & Talent Development

  • Execute and partner with L&D teams to evolve talent processes (performance management, feedback, promotions, calibration) to improve org health.

  • Support leadership onboarding and coaching for new G&A managers and leaders.

  • Partner with managers to build high-performing teams; calibrate talent during annual performance cycles, conduct bi-annual succession planning, and successfully execute L&D programs. 

  • Provide coaching on topics like conflict resolution, team effectiveness, and leadership development.

Employee Relations & Culture Health

  • Navigate and resolve sensitive employee relations matters (e.g., investigations, terminations) in partnership with Legal and People Ops.

  • Conduct exit interviews for high-impact departures, analyzing insights to drive improvements.

  • Act as a cultural steward, reinforcing Apollo’s values through every employee touchpoint.

Data-Informed Decision Making

  • Leverage people data to identify trends and proactively address challenges around engagement, retention, and team performance.

  • Use workforce planning tools (headcount modeling, segmentation) to support business agility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive HRBP/People Partner experience, with at least 2 years supporting G&A teams

  • Experience functioning successfully in ambiguous, high-growth, and startup environments 

  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change, team scaling, and manager development

  • Proficiency in handling complex employee relations with high judgment and discretion

  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and consulting skills

  • Exceptional communication skills and experience influencing across all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments.

  • Experience directly supporting C-suite executives and their leadership teams.

  • Familiarity with org design concepts (spans/layers, capability diagnostics, operating model design).

  • Experience with strategic communication program design and implementation. 

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.

  • Exposure to global or matrixed organizations.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
