Senior Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role

We are a U.S.-based management consulting company seeking a highly skilled FP&A Senior Analyst with strong accounting foundations and hands-on NetSuite experience. This is a strategic and execution-heavy role ideal for someone who thrives in a high-autonomy environment, loves turning data into insight, and can partner closely with U.S. leadership.

You will lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis, deliver financial reporting and forecasts, and ensure accounting data flows accurately through NetSuite and related systems. Your work will directly support decision-making and operational excellence across our portfolio of clients and internal business units. Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Drive annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

• Develop monthly financial reports with variance analysis against budget/forecast

• Build and maintain operating models and dashboards (Excel, Power BI a plus)

• Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial impact of initiatives

Accounting Support (NetSuite)

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in NetSuite, working with accounting staff

• Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

• Help optimize NetSuite structure and reporting hierarchies

• Assist with setup and mapping of new accounts or departments

Operational Finance

• Coordinate portfolio of revenue and resource forecasts for consulting projecst

• Support cash flow forecasting and treasury planning

• Track headcount, utilization, and financial KPIs

• Prepare ad hoc financial models to support pricing, hiring, or strategic decisions

Reporting & Audit Support

• Maintain internal reporting packages for leadership and investors

• Provide financial data and analysis for external audits or tax filings

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in FP&A

• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial operations

• 2+ years of experience using NetSuite for accounting and reporting

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort building financial models

• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with U.S. executives

• Fluent English (verbal and written), including professional financial communication

• Availability to work full-time aligned with U.S. Central Standard Time (CST

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting tools & processes

• Prior work in consulting, SaaS, or offshore services environment

• Familiarity with Open Air (now called SuiteProjects)

• Familiarity with Power BI
