We are currently seeking a Senior EDI Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Raritan, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact healthcare delivery and client satisfaction.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple EDI-related projects from initiation to completion within corporate deadlines.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex EDI issues in collaboration with clients and vendors.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up support.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, lab operations, and third-party vendors to resolve client issues efficiently.

  • Analyze client ordering patterns to identify and address potential issues early, improving electronic ordering and result delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in EDI or project management within the healthcare industry.

  • Proven experience working with various EMR vendors and/or laboratories on lab implementations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and customer service abilities.

  • Ability to work professionally across departments and with leadership at all levels.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lab ordering systems and electronic result delivery platforms.

  • Familiarity with HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability protocols.

  • Prior experience in a client-facing technical support or implementation role.

Pay Range: $80-95k

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
