As the Senior Director of IT, you will be at the forefront of planning and driving strategic change, assessing our current state, and architecting the future of our IT infrastructure. What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our company’s business goals and objectives.
Assess current IT infrastructure, applications, and operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
Advocate for and lead significant IT initiatives that provide a clear ROI and long-term value for the company.
Communication Excellence:
Distill and present complex IT topics to senior leadership, ensuring clarity, relevance, and timeliness.
Engage with various stakeholders, promoting transparent and effective communication.
Translate technical jargon into business language to drive informed decision-making.
Team Development:
Cultivate an environment that promotes professional growth, collaboration, and a strong performance culture.
Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, ensuring that they have the resources and skills required to meet organizational needs.
Implement training and professional development programs to ensure the team stays updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure the seamless operation of all IT functions, including infrastructure, application development, security, and support.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring that IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business leaders across the company to understand their technology needs and ensure IT initiatives support those needs.
Foster strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to bring forward new ideas and solutions.
Continuously evaluate and improve IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale IT transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to articulate and communicate complex topics in a clear, concise manner to senior leadership.
Strong understanding of IT best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
Ability to think strategically while also diving deep into technical details when necessary.
USA Pacific base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $260,000 - $300,000 USA Sapphire base pay range (all other U.S. states): $234,000 - $270,000
