Senior Dev Ops Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in ConnectWise and a background in Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. This role is fully remote and requires a proactive problem solver who can drive efficiency and scalability across our technology stack.

 

Location: United States (remote)

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and automation pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.

·       Administer and optimize ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate for service delivery and monitoring.

·       Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure high availability and performance.

·       Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

·       Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize for cost, performance, and security.

·       Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

·       Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

·       Improve security and compliance practices, including vulnerability management and identity/access controls.

·       Automate system provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for high reliability.

·       Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing.

 

Required Qualifications:

·       5+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

·       Strong hands-on experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate.

·       Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

·       Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.

·       Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack).

·       Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.

·       Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog).

·       Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

 

Required Qualifications:

·       ConnectWise certifications or deep working knowledge of ConnectWise integrations.

·       Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory management.

·       Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

·       Background in disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
