Role Objectives:

The Senior Business Development Manager at WEP Clinical is responsible for driving the growth and success of WEP Clinical’s entire service portfolio by developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies, including Access Programs, Clinical Trials, Patient and Site Solutions, 3PL, Data Collection, Pharmacovigilance, and Comparator services. This role is instrumental in driving sales efforts and securing new business opportunities. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders that align commercial activities with WEP’s business objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a personal business plan to achieve sales targets and build long-term strategic client relationships.

  • Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads, secure new opportunities, and strengthen customer satisfaction.

  • Expand the commercial pipeline by identifying and engaging new clients through CRM tools, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing.

  • Evaluate new business opportunities, provide detailed reports on market trends and competitors, and ensure alignment with WEP’s strategic goals.

  • Maintain and update pipeline data in WEP’s CRM system to support accurate forecasting and reporting.

  • Collaborate with service line experts to design tailored client solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and other business development activities.

  • Represent WEP Clinical at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote the brand and uncover new opportunities.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth within the Business Development team.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to shape sales strategies and manage high-value client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in a Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, Marketing, or Finance field preferred) 

  • 5-8 years of business development or sales experience is preferred 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Confidence and ability to reach out to cold opportunities 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Computer literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
