Salesforce Business Analyst

What You Will Do:
Engage customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria
Articulate the value of recommended Salesforce solutions and approaches to stakeholders
Lead discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover business, functional, and technological needs
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and existing methodologies
Write clear and comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
Perform fit-gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and client requirements
Design and implement Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Lightning Flow Builder, dynamic forms, validation rules, and approval processes
Build automations using record-triggered flows, screen flows, and scheduled flows
Manage data migrations to and from Salesforce, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation
Draft custom development specifications and coordinate delivery and testing with development teams
Iterate Salesforce solutions through adaptive-agile cycles with the customer Product Owner
Develop training curriculum and deliver sessions to end users
Collaborate with the Guidehouse Project Manager to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
What You Will Need:
BA/BS degree
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT systems development (may substitute for a degree)
A minimum of three (3) years of experience administering or consulting with Salesforce
Minimum of two (2) current Salesforce certifications (Admin, App Builder, Sales/Service/Community Clouds)
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Flow Builder and declarative automation
Experience with dynamic forms, advanced formulas, and validation rules
Experience with approval processes, including entry criteria, multi-step routing, and outcome handling
Experience with business process definition, mapping, and reengineering
Experience writing epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Understanding of B2B, B2C, and hybrid business models
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with data migrations using tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, or import wizard
Experience in a “Big 4” or equivalent consulting firm or Salesforce Platinum partner
Experience with public sector clients
Demonstrable experience in Public Sector Solutions or Omnistudio Consulting
Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering
MBA preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
